It Works: Virtue Flourish
Having used Virtue Flourish for my thinning hair three months now, I can't believe how well it's working!
A lot of hair products promise the world, and few deliver even a fraction of their claims. One line I have yet to be disappointed in even the slightest: Virtue!
Their 6-in-1 Styler is a magnificent multitasker that continues to blow me away each time I use it. It helps protect hair from heat styling, adds shine, softness, strength and hydration without weighing even my fine hair down one bit.
Maybe my favorite, the Virtue Frizz Block Smoothing Spray is a HOLY GRAIL item. It protects hair from humidity for up to 72 hours, protects from heat styling up to 450 degrees and smells like my mom's legendary baked apples. I can't tell you how many times I've bought highly touted frizz fixers that fall flat on their claims. This stuff surpasses expectations by a mile!
I also love Virtue's totally clear Healing Oil. Just a few little shakes of this stuff into your hand and then onto the ends of the hair does wonders. I think it really has helped to strengthen my ends. It makes my hair more elastic, not so prone to snapping. The ingredient in Virtue products that really packs a punch: Alpha Keratin 60ku® protein, which Virtue describes as "a whole, human keratin protein, the first of its kind ever used in hair care. Born from regenerative medicine, it is identical to the keratin in our hair, skin, and nails, so it has the power to bind directly to damaged areas and repair unlike anything else."
As I wrote about previously, my biggest hair concern lately was thinning, especially by my temples and around my part. It's now been three months since I started using Virtue Flourish, their drug-free option (they also have a kit with 5% minoxidil), and both the gentleman who cuts my hair and woman who highlights my hair both remarked this month on the health of my hair and lots of new growth! I've also noticed that my little ponytail feels thicker! The kit includes Shampoo for Thinning Hair and Conditioner for Thinning Hair as well as a spray bottle of Density Booster, which I've sprayed onto my scalp's problem areas and rubbed in daily. They suggest using the Density Booster at night, but I use it after towel-drying my hair. It doesn't make my hair greasy or anything like that. I'm not a big fan of how it smells, but the scent dissipates quickly.
I like the Virtue Full line better for shampoo and conditioner. I find it to be a little more moisturizing, but I am continuing to use the Flourish Density Booster to see if it alone can keep up my fantastic results.
As I type this, Virtue is offering 25% off with the code HELLO2023. If you try the line, I can't wait to hear what you think!
Cheers to fab hair and things that really work!
